Our Story

MetoKote was founded in 1969 through the entrepreneurial spirit of three inventive Ohio farm boys. Starting with a makeshift oven in a family garage, the company quickly shifted to volume coating operations that supplied the automotive industry throughout the Midwest. We have since grown to become the largest provider of custom coating solutions in the world with more than 30 facilities in seven countries.
